  "x_description": "This dataset contains mixed resolution measurements of the ambient electron counts from the EDI experiment on the Cluster C31 spacecraft. The raw data counts are given for 0/180 and/or 90 degrees pitch angles and electron energies of 0.5 or 1 keV (mostly 0.5 keV) The Status parameter contains the energy and TM info in its two significant bits: If bit 0 is set then the electron energy is 1 keV, else it is 0.5 keV. Bit 1 indicates the telemetry mode: 0/1 stays for NM/BM telemetry. In NM (Bit1 = 0): 16 counts/second, acquisition time per count = 1/64 s (~16ms, 25% duty cycle In BM (Bit1 = 1): 128 counts/second, acquisition time per count = 1/128 s (~8 ms), 100% duty cycle These data have been converted into Cluster Exchange Format from the original Common Data Format (CDF)  These files are stored in NASA/CDF format with the same ISTP/CSDS metadata as the CSDS Prime Parameter Products. Note: These files have also been transcribed into the standard CAA Cluster Exchange Format (see C3_CP_EDI_AE).",
