  "x_description": "Henceforth parameters were designed as settings that were subject to occasional tuning or revision by PIs, as a result of their monitoring of instrument performance, e.g. gain or MCP settings. They were denoted by names starting with a dollar ($) character. The remaining 15 characters indicated the function of the parameter.  The values of these parameters were held in the JSOC commanding database for insertion into the weekly payload command schedule. The names and initial values of henceforth parameters were specified by PIs as part of the specification of the instrument operational mode transitions.  During the mission PIs supplied revised values of henceforth parameters via Default Parameter Values (DEPV) files. All values supplied via this mechanism were then applied 'henceforth', i.e. the new value of a parameter immediately superseded the previous value held in the JSOC database - and remained in use until superseded by a further update.",
