  "x_description": "This dataset contains the electrostatic potential pattern representing ionospheric convection\nin the Southern Hemisphere measured by SuperDARN. The data is provided both as 6th order map\npotential coefficientsand as ionospheric potential on a rectilinear 40x40 grid with 222 km\nspacing and centred on the geomagnetic pole. Information is also provided on the number of\nobservations and list of radars contributing to each measurement. The Interplanetary Magnetic\nField (IMF) at the Earth (taken from the NASA OMNI dataset) is provided for context. The value\nof the Heppner-Maynard Boundary (HMB) used to scale the size of the ionospheric convection\npattern is also included.\n\nSuperDARN is an international collaboration which operates a network of high frequency\ncoherent scatter radars to characterise the polar ionospheric convection pattern in the\nnorthern and southern hemispheres.\n\nThis dataset was generated as part of European Union ECLAT project. The aim of the European\nCluster Assimilation Technology (ECLAT) is to provide a novel data base, by providing an upgrade\nto the CAA.
