"x_description": "The Visual Monitoring Camera (VMC) is onboard 2 of the 4 Cluster spacecraft (Cluster 1 and Cluster 3). The Spacecraft were launched in pairs (2+3 then 1+4) or Salsa and Samba, then Rumba and Tango), and the VMC is installed on the upper most spacecraft, primarily used to take images after the release of the lower spacecraft. The VMC used the eXternal Memory eXpansion Unit (XMXU) to store up to 27 pictures which are read-out at a later time. An issue with the VMC on Cluster 3 during the first launch means that there are only data after launch from Cluster 1. Many years later (between 2016 and 2018), the Flight Control Team, inspired by Mars Express, initiated several observations using the VMC camera. Unfortunately, the resulting images were not archived or timestamped consistently. This dataset attempts to provide a rudimentary archiving of these data in the Cluster Science Archive.",
